Black Caricature Bank
Black Caricature
Castiron coin bank made to resemble a caricatured black man. His ears are noticeably cartoonish, and his lips are bright red and wide with white teeth. He has an arm outstretched which is actuated by his left ear which acts as a lever; when operated, the arm raises the hand to the mouth, causing the 'tongue'-plate to move out of the way and the eyes to roll forward. This hand is also hollowed out in the shape of a coin, suggesting that a coin placed in the hand would easily drop into the bank. The man wears what appears to be a red uniform coat, trimmed in white with three gold stripes on the lever arm. The back of the figure contains no branding, and there is a hole in the bottom of the bank where you can see the inner mechanism of the bank.

Black Pete "Stop Blackface" Postcard
Zwarte Piet, White Woman, White Boy
Postcard with an illustration of a museum. The focus of the frame is a large framed portrait of Zwart Piet, with the plaque under him reading "1850-2015." Around the corner three other portraits are visible, each one with a prominent black figure. A fourth portrait is visible but obscured. The first appears to depict police violence against a black man; in the second, a white police officer looks down on a black figure; in the third, the black figure is the only focus. In front of the Zwarte Piet portrait, there are three figures: a white woman, a small white child (presumably her son), and their dog. The son has a speech bubble attributed to him that has been left blank. In the top left-hand corner of the postcard, the words "Zwarte Piet hoort thuis in het museum" appear. At the bottom left, "stop blackface" is written in the same font. At the bottom right, the artist signs his name: George Adegite. On the reverse of the postcard, "stop blackface" is written again, and the space for writing is separated from the address lines by the address "www.stopblackface.com" written three times. At the bottom left of the postcard, the words "Vormgeving door Cablai.nl" appear.

Cardboard Box for Fumistine Metal Polish
Black Caricature
Cardboard box. The box is empty. The sides of the box are black, and each contain the word "Fumistine" in a white panel with black text. On the two long sides, the 'Fumistine' panel is centred, with text to the left side reading "cuisineres, fourneaux" and to the right reading "poêles, tuyaux." The top of the box depicts a black caricature figure at the centre, smiling wide and brandishing a cleaning cloth in one hand and (presumably) Fumistine polish in the other. The man wears an apron and leans over a surface. The word 'Fumistine' is printed across the foreground of the image, as if it rests on top of the surface. In the surface the mirrors of 'umistine' are visible. The man's arms overlap the 'um' and the 'in' slightly. At the top of the image, bracketing the man's head, words are printed: "la pate qui nettoie et fait briller - la fonte et l'acier."
